The Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA) is seeking a Full-Time Development Coordinator to join our team in downtown Santa Barbara.
The Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Director of Development with all aspects of Development. This position includes occasional travel to other agency locations throughout Santa Barbara County.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in development or fundraising required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience coordinating and planning events required.
- A minimum of 3 years of customer service and/or administrative experience required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information required, as evidenced through past work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required as evidenced in the interview.
- Familiarity with the Santa Barbara philanthropic community and funding sources for non-profits preferred.
- Experience with graphic design software preferred.
- Experience with donor databases preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the DonorPerfect database, ensuring accurate donor, gift, pledge, grant, and event records.
- Prepare and send timely gift acknowledgments, receipts, pledge letters, and donor correspondence.
- Respond promptly to donor inquiries, including donation details, recurring gifts, matching gifts, and tax documentation.
- Support fundraising campaigns and special events, including list preparation, tracking, and reporting.
- Conduct basic prospect research and maintain updated donor and constituent records.
- Assist with development communications, including Constant Contact, social media, and website content support.
This is a non-exempt, full-time position that includes medical/vision/dental benefits, vacation, sick, and holiday pay. Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
Salary range: $25-$27, dependent on qualifications and experience

Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
